The app
Background Eraser is developed by Wojciech Rozga and distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download and use of the app are additionally governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Free plan and subscriptions
The app is free to download and use; videos exported on the free plan include a small watermark. The optional Pro subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) removes the watermark. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled anytime in App Store subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Your content
Everything you record, import and export with Background Eraser is yours. Processing happens on your device; we never receive your content and claim no rights to it. You are responsible for what you create, including having the necessary rights to footage and background media you import.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to create content that is unlawful or that misleads people in harmful ways (for example, presenting manipulated footage as authentic in deceptive contexts).
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wojciech Rozga is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app or this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
